about an immigration experiences of your own or someone.
I have a great experience of being immigrants after i left my country in 2008. i had an first experience when i first landed in hongkong, i was not allowed to go outside the airport because i was an immigrant. i felt so lonely and sad. happiness and sadness are the two factors of every human beings and i exeperienced these two factors mainly practised by immigrants. obviously immigrants have lots of problems because they are the people from different countries and it is real hard to tackle and face with different things of different countries. the first thing i felt is homesickness. almost every immigrants feel that after they left their motherland. i felt like i could not do anything in this new land due to the continuous memory of my home country displayed in my mind. i felt the cultural shock . for example:- i am hindu and majority americans are christians, in my culture we are not allowed to eat the beef because cow is our national animal but it is uncommon in american society. various traditions, beliefs and norms are the factors which bring great differences in new country. language problem is the first major thing which made us like dumb which i felt too due to the different accent in my first days. different rules are to be practised which take long time to learn and real difficult to adopt in the new days, besides this immigration rules are more strict. i want to share my friend exeperience: he was caught by the cops suspecting a criminal because his face was not american and he is from my own country then investigation started, later on cops asked sorry and left him reporting him not involved in any kind of bad things and his record is nice. this made him nervous and effect his psychology. i mean to say that these kind of things also made immigrants so lonely and messed up. besides these things i want to share my experience of being immigrant and international student, it is real hard to survive and study together. this is because we are not given any loans, insurancre, etc. life is real hard for the illegal immigrants in comparision to legal ones. in some contest immigrants are treated as the people from any other plantes. immigrants have to do lots of struggles to adjust in the new country which i am doing too. it is real hard me to maintain my budget and study together. there is a kind of scary thing in my mind if i could not maintain my status in order to stay in the US. there are lots of responsibilities in front of me which made me matured besides many problems. now a days i am thinking if i was in my own country and own home how happy my life would be. we should be happy in what we have and we should keep in the mind we are the people from different country and obviously we will not have same right as the citizen of that country. this made the life more happier of immigrants if we keep this thing in our mind.

ReplyDeleteyou are right immigration is not so easy for students here.. I hope soon will be better..
ReplyDeletethanks instructor Corona. Tram i agree on you, yes being immigrants also we can do what the citizen of that country can do. it depends upon how much struggle you can do in this competitive generation. we must work on to achieve our goal. we must be good in order to expect the best from others. i will not loose my hope and all of the international students should not give up to hit the dream what they made when they are travelling to the US or any other countries. thank you papae obviously we have same problems cause we both are international students and this is common for all F-1. opportunities arises everyday but depends upon we can grab it or not. i am also happy nowdays cause i am used to with everythings and lil bit american lol. US is the land of opportunities and sure we will reach our destination one day. believe on your struggle beeter than luck we will be successful isn't it?
ReplyDeleteWhen we desided to move out our country we do not know exactly situation will happen in our life. For me now I enjoyed staying in USA.
ReplyDeleteyes Anya..life is uncertain..past is past, do the best in present your future will be automatically outstanding..nice to hear that you are enjoying USA as we are doing.
ReplyDeleteif it's about racism. i would say, it's true. but not just in the US, it happend in every country.bigger over smaller. but if you behave to people, there is nobody in this country will let you down.
ReplyDeleteYes you are exactly right thaole. there are two character: dominant and recessive character. bigger nation dominates small countries and want to make their colonies. they want to imply their rules in small countries which must be truely hated. the most serious social crime is racism, i am hater of those haters or racists. we must be adjusted in society with brotherhood. this is only a simple way to adjust in any communities with happiness. we are from same earth.
